Experience with a personal story of pathology is much different than an empirical study of said pathology, is it not? The personal story in this case was a clear example of punctuated equilibrium.
'You think to much. Take this, one a day. You will be less of a distraction to the not-sick."
"Don't you mean, obedient?"
"Excuse me, my boss is on the phone." He winks as he looks at the cell's screen and walks away."
