Finding an appropriate initial scope often had a chaotic feel to it. Long before concepts can be adequately explicit for other purposes, defining an arbitrary initial boundary nearly mandates, less rigor. Intuition and recognition are more conducive to the front end.

I'm not clear about the connection to debt that this has. Nor what you mean by "the time value of...non-time value". But I'm always interested in what you have to say and think.
