Split screen with Buck Henry’s screenplay on left and the finished film on the right. Watching short segments while comparing them to the screenplay.

The minutiae of the movie reveals itself. J-cuts between scenes makes the story flow. Transparent because the audience is enaged. But "under the hood', great artistry.

Educated but not experienced, they were. "The same as it ever was." 1967. Portland before it became Portlandia.
