That Self-Contradictory Thingy

Uncertainty (think about it)
"The horror stories from the age of Skinner's behaviorism turned me off, big time. But I have to say, this is a twist that makes things … well … different.

"Clearly, the idea that reinforcement is the cornerstone of repetitive behavior rings true. Repeating creativity may well fall into the category as well.

"However, current practice tends to negate creativity as child's play that one should outgrow. Dominance and passivity ostensibly serving species longevity.

"Yet, to be a successful person arguably is to be more autonomous than any other organism while retaining a social awareness that is, at the same time, indulging self-interest."
