Is it that the bubble has isolated this democracy manipulator to the degree that the consequences of his delegating come as a complete surprise when he attempts to step outside its boundaries?
Whether or not this is the first instance is beside the point. Concentrated power is a prescription for self-serving delusion.
Denying knowledge or recollection may be some sort of defense, denying responsibility as an officer of the company, something entirely different.
"What did you mean by 'checking your humanity at the office door?'"
"How do you define, professional? Is it your choice? If not, why?"

I abhor underhanded obfuscation. The Koch’s trumpet “free market”, “capitalism”, and the “American way”. But, their objective is more basic: to control whatever they can buy and to left alone to do whatever their money will let them. Unconscionable and immoral.
