He again felt a rush of confusing thought brought on by another sudden vigilance that had been 'not in focus' or 'off-the radar'. A whole class of these perceptions rose as one as the leading major denial collapsed. He seemed to recall having heard a flavor of systemic shame described this way.
The world would surely be better place if this destructive pattern could be neutralized in a way friendly to sentient beings. Making any insight better understood, meritorious.
