Like A Silence Grows

There is one among us with a long record of reinforced feedback of a particularly destructive kind. There could be more, but that misses the main point.

"The specter of self-inflicted manipulated perception, with or without purposeful cause is fraught with risk. In a domain largely dependent on repeating patterns, free will can be and has been downright spooky. How many times we hear a salient fact of human visual perception - most of what we see is what we expect to see. Manage with caution and resist betting the farm."

She did not see it that way, apparently. And if that was, indeed, the case, her articulation of a counterpoint requires a certain openness on the part of the receiver that had yet to be adequately demonstrated.
