Bounded Liberty

"Most would agree the liberty to steal a neighbor's property is taking the concept of liberty to far. Other examples of exceeding reason abound, of course.

"Just as it is difficult to arrive at a reasonable constraint on liberty's scope, it is also difficult to choose WHO should decide the parameters that define it."

"Shareholders elect directors who are accountable to them. Directors select management to guide the corporations activities in the interest of the shareholders. Directors monitor the management on behalf of their constituents (owners) and take remedial action if and when it is called for.

"In our case, an owner/shareholder is one member in good standing (a single person) who is limited to a single share." No other person or any group (corporate or otherwise) is allowed to own equity or vote on board membership.
