"Yes, a lot is happening fast. Some are calm. Others, not so much. The calamity has forced a lot into the open. A rich spectrum of human emotion.
"I would like claiming it was by design. Being honest though, it was based on a hunch that competent goodwill would be productive rather than an abundance of analysis.
"Knowing deeply some of the personalities involved, increases the odds of a positive outcome. But the unknown factor is almost impossible to accurately quantify. Once again, patterns are key."
So when one dares to use the term, it often is like a curse. The four star general says, wait until morning. Things will look better. History is kinder to those who do not deny its downturns, but learn instead from them.
