Not So Stranger?

"He seemed a bit weird. Like an ex-con who likes to 'mess with you'.  Reasonably intelligent but eager to use it to provoke a confrontation. Quickly moving from a friendly verbal joust to violent threats. The trigger, being 'outgunned' in a game of disguised deception.

"The cell phone videos documented what transpired just after the inside incident. Audio only of the switch to threats of violence from the friendly, though odd interchange, valuable for later analysis, one suspects."

"I didn't follow."

It is not that we should laugh at the other's misery. But a special kind of humor does have a way of bringing out compassionate action. That is once the situation has been secured.

One might reasonably ask, is the person in question capable of plotting irrational violence? Is she/he likely to? Is there a pattern evident that is worth sharing?

"How many folks fitting this profile are at that location?"
