Dog Napping

"Sorkin may have missed it altogether?"

"Or his sources. Just a theory supported by the observations of a few, I suspect. Two threads - plausible and … what was that other one?", he paused rubbing his chin wondering what had interrupted his impromptu thought.

The silence that ensued cued introspection. The other thread, 'expected'.

"Social is not a dirty word. Who would want others to believe it is so? And why? Ambiance, as if someone was experimenting with 'gas light'" on a grand scale. The motive may well be the same, money/power. Or just protecting ill-gotten spoils."
