Deferred Decision Support

"These conversations are happening continuously.  From our vantage point, we hear those most representative of the entire network.  The popular term for them is, buzz. Often they suggest what may happen, they are predictive. More often than not, a high ratio of questions to declarations exists."

This tracer instance served to illustrate the nature of an executive staffer's pool of everyday filing duty. Presumably this was not filed in real-time because it did not have real-time application but was considered in the context of the daily tasks.

When tools were first proposed to assist in executive support function there was a general awareness of how much value had been slipping through the cracks, so-to-speak. Hand written notes in jargon meant enough to their author in the heat of the discussion but follow-up was dropped because the potential benefit was not of immediate concern to the mission.
