Now What?

Aren't we being a bit ... over dramatic?

"If history is a guide, look for the candidate to try stalling until it is too close to the election to impact it."

"That won't work. He is not the incumbent. The intelligence agencies are reporting to the other guy."

"Maybe they aren't now, even if they were then."

"It has been a long time since the FBI director 'for life' passed away. To this day, we cannot be sure that his highly questionable actions as director have passed into insignificance."

"There is a file for that." Her dark humor was not lost on anyone in the room.
